Legislation providing pregnant women in Illinois with new workplace rights will now be considered by the state Senate.  The measure passed in the House Thursday by a vote of 65-to-35.  The sponsor of the bill state Representative Mary Flowers says "women who are pregnant deserve to be respected."

Just a few things that her bill covers, include employers required to allow frequent bathroom breaks, water breaks, help with manual labor, and time off to recover from childbirth.
