Investigators say a triple murder investigation is being stymied by a lack of cooperation.  Illinois State Police say that witnesses to the deadly incident outside an East St. Louis nightclub aren't talking.  Three people were shot to death early Sunday in the parking lot of Club VIP, and two others were injured in the incident.  Among the dead is 21-year-old Henry Byrd III of Alton.

Also killed was 19-year-old Marcus Holmes of St. Louis, and 18-year-old Alonzo Phiffer of East St. Louis.  Authorities say two groups of young people began arguing inside the club and were kicked out.  Several people reportedly went to their cars to retrieve weapons and began shooting.   Police had taken several people into custody for questioning immediately after the shootings, but no one has been charged and no suspects are in custody.
