The Illinois Fighting Illini earned their first Big 10 win of the season last night holding of Indiana 73-71. Trent Frazer and Leron Black each scored 19 in the win that brings Illinois back to .500 at 11-11. Indiana falls to 12-9 on the season.
Indiana jumped out to an early lead, 14-6, and Illinois trailed at the half 38-32, but clawed back through the second half. The win also snaps a 6 game losing streak for Illinois.
The Illini is now off until next Tuesday when it hosts Rutgers. Indiana plays Sunday against #3 Purdue.
Also last night in the SEC, Missouri lost at home to Auburn 91-73.
LCCC lost at Lincoln Trail 79-73.
