Akers Sworn In As Wood River Mayor

Frank Akers has been sworn in as Wood River Mayor.  He was chosen by his peers April 9th to fill the mayor’s spot on the Wood River City Council following the death of Mayor Fred Ufert on March 25.  Akers says the spot he vacated on the city council may be filled soon.
