The Illinois All-Stars rallied to knock off the Missouri All-Stars, 9-7, in the High School Baseball Showcase at Busch Stadium Friday night. The Missouri All-Stars looked like they take their fourth straight from their rivals as they led 5-1 heading into the fifth. However Triad's Keaton Wright put his side right back in the game with a two-run triple. The hit parade continued in the sixth as Edwardsville's Drew Curtis and O'Fallon's Brenndon Tindall combined to plate four runs, putting Illinois on top after six innings. Edwardsville's Blake Graham finished the night with four hits and four runs scored on the way to sharing co-player of the game honors with Tindall.
Alton's Brent Gibbs had a hit and an RBI while fellow Redbird Ray Bailey struck out the final two batters of the game to earn the save.
