Zachary Wayne Short, 37, departed from this world on March 28th, 2024, at 11:29 p.m. in Tampa, FL.
He was born in Alton, IL on July 17th, 1986.
He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend.
A funeral service to honor Zach's life will be held on April 19, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis, Mo. Guests who will be attending the services are asked to arrive at Sylvan Springs park at 10 a.m. We will be escorted by fellow Service members to gather to pay our respects, and lay Zachary to rest.
A lunch will be provided after the services at the Laux Brickhouse in Bethalto, IL to celebrate his life and share memories with friends and family.
