William Joseph Lowe, 54, passed away at 4:58 a.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Collinsville Rehab and Health Care Center.
Born Jan. 13, 1962 in Beaufort, S.C., he was a son of Ralph and Betty Jean (Bazzell) Lowe.
He worked as a truck driver and also as a taxi driver. Bill loved to fish and golf, play guitar and sing. He was an expert trivia buff in movies, music and sports.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Lowe of Edwardsville; three sisters, Gail Charlotte (Les) Harper of Maryville and Linda Kay (Scott) Collins, and Yvonne (Troy) Eby of Edwardsville; a brother, Ralph (Geraldine) Lowe, Jr. of Grafton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
The family will hold a memorial service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Apr. 13 at the Mitchell First Baptist Church, 608 English Lane, Granite City.
