Tula Mae Neuhaus, 87, passed away 3:20 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Eunice Smith Nursing Home in Alton.
Born in Alton on November 17, 1927, she was the daughter of William F. and Viola M. (Smith) Weihe.
Tula ad worked as a sales clerk at Baxter's in Alton 16 years before retiring in June of 1998.
She is survived by a son and his wife, Richard and Nancy Neuhaus of Ft. Worth, TX; two grandchildren, Amy Neuhaus, Matthew (Shannon) Neuhaus; three great grandchildren, Ashley Kennedy, Trevor Patton and Haven Neuhaus; a sister, Fern LaLumandier of East Alton; and very special nieces, Margaret, Barb and Susan.
Preceding in death were her parents; a daughter, Cindy Kay Neuhaus; and a sister and her husband, Mary and Marvin Meyer.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, February 19 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wood River. Pastor Martin Schultz will officiate.
Burial will follow in Woodland Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St, Paul Lutheran Church of American Cancer Society.
