Steven C. King, 64, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Alton Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born October 17, 1950 in Alton, Illinois, the son of Charles and Rosemary (Harris) King.
He married Janet Duke on October 19, 1984 in Miami, OK. She survives.
Steven served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a machine operator for Saint Gobain Glass Manufacturer. He was a Green Bay Packers fan and St. Louis Cardinals fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children and their spouses, Mark (Kim) King of O’Fallon, IL, Scott King of East Alton and Stacie (Adam) Harman of Wood River; ten grandchildren, Kalin, Brenna and Christopher King, Mashell, Willow, Owen, and Shawn King, Bailey, Aidan and Liam Harman; a brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Sherry King of Colorado Springs, CO and a sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and John Alejandro of Springfield, MO.
Visitation will be from 3 until services at 7 pm Monday, November 17, 2014 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the Funeral Home for Funeral Expenses.
