Shirley Corrigan

Shirley K. Corrigan, age 62, of Bethalto, passed away at her home Tuesday, March 1, 2016, with her family by her side.She was born November 4, 1953, in Wood River, the daughter of Olice F. and Nell D. (King) Floyd. Shirley had worked as a Customer Service Manager at the Wood River Wal-Mart. She was a member of Meadowbrook Church of God where she served as a Sunday School teacher and a volunteer for many of the church’s activities. Shirley enjoyed fishing and camping. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.She is survived by three children and their spouses, Kevin and Julie Sanders of Bethalto, Kelly and Michael Vonderheidt of Bethalto, and Chris and Jessica Corrigan of Bunker Hill; three siblings and their spouses, Debbie and Ronnie Bye of Fulton, KY, David and Bobbie Floyd of Dyer, TN, and Linda and Jim Rehmus of Meadowbrook; and three grandchildren, Dawson, Luke, and Jake Vonderheidt.She is preceded in death by her parents.Visitation will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 10:00 am until a Celebration of Life Service at Noon at Meadowbrook Assembly of God Church with Pastor Alta Vaughn officiating.A private family interment will take place at a later date.Contributions may be made to Meadowbrook Assembly of God Church.Online condolences and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com or to www.facebook.com/eliaskallalandschaaf.
