Scott A. Bosoluke, 48, passed away at 4:47pm, Thursday, April 19, 2013 at his residence. He died as a result of an accidental drowning while cleaning out his lake’s spillway.

He was born in Alton, IL on August 11, 1964 the son of Stan and Sharon (Miller) Bosoluke.

He married Marcy (McAfoos) Bosoluke.  

Scott was a self-employed Wholesaler. He was a Blues fan, avid hunter, a devoted husband, loving father and good friend. Scott loved skating and spending time outdoors with his son, hunting with his dog Ruby, brothers, and nephews. He believed strongly in a person’s right to bear arms. He was a very astute and self-made businessman who enjoyed the success that he created with his own mind and hands.

He is survived by his wife Marcy; one son, Evan Bosoluke; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Stan and Milicent McAfoos; two brothers and their spouses, Steven and Angie Bosoluke, Morgan and Tina McAfoos; two sisters and their spouses, Julie and Ted Prehn, Meme and Tim Evans; nieces and nephews, Andy and Betsy Prehn, Jonathan Prehn, Spencer and Nick Bosoluke, Annie, Maggie, and Jack Evans, Mason McAfoos and his great companion, a black lab, Ruby.

Visitation will be from 2 pm until time of service at 5 pm on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, IL with Pastor Jame Hahs officiating.

A private burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey, IL.
