Richard Todd Henson, 51, died at 4:14 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at St. Louis University Hospital. Born April 21, 1964 in Alton, he was the son of Melvin D. and Sarah Ann (Gray) Henson. He had worked as a truck driver for the Jeffco Trucking Company. He married the former Karen Rader on October 16, 1999 in Edwardsville. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Heather Bonneville of Alton and Nicole Henson of Granite City, two sons, Jacob and Jesse Henson both of Granite City, three sisters, Linda Robinson (Ron) of Godfrey, Claudia Jobe of Keokuk, IA, and Rhonda Scott of Bethalto and a brother-in-law Kenny Scott of Bethalto. He is also survived by nephews and nieces Kevin and Heather of Alton and Godfrey, Chantelle, Paul Jr. and Sarah of Iowa, Derek, Nick and Kim of Alton and St. Louis, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
