Rebecca Diane Griggs, 62, of Bethalto, IL, died at 11:37 p.m. Sat. Aug. 15, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 24, 1953 in Alton to Dorothy (Coleman) Masterson of Bethalto, IL and the late William “Man” Griggs. In addition to her mother, she is survived by: 2 sons, Chad Griggs of S.C. and Bradley Griggs of Decatur, IL, 7 brothers, Billy, Greg, Steven, Kevin, Sterling, Ricky & J.D. Griggs and 5 sisters, Dorothy Sheppard, Roxanne Bond, Stephanie “Penny” Heaton, Traci Whitehead and Autumn Swearingin. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Griggs and a sister, Donna Ragusa. The family will hold a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Fri., Aug. 21, 2015 at Wanda Cemetery.
