Patsy H. Raines, 86, passed away 7:59 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Rosewood Care Center of Alton.
Born in Walnut Ridge, Ark. on July 14, 1928, she was the daughter of Edward B. and Flora (Welsch) Bristol.
She had worked in the accounts receivable department of Schwartz Furniture in Wood River before retiring.
On May 18, 1950 in Wood River, she married Roger E. Raines. He died March 27, 2007.
Surviving are a son, Toby Raines of Brighton; seven grandchildren, Kimberly, JoAnn, Sarah,Danny, Becky, Laura and Tom; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Roger R. Raines; and grandson, Matthew Payne.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River where services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Kimberly Allen will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodland Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the 1st United Methodist Church in Wood River where she had been a long-time and dedicated member.
