She was born on Jersey County, Illinois on January 19, 1926 to the late James E. & Frances H. (Coleman) McCauley.at
Margaret worked at St. Denis Catholic Church in Shipman.
Survivors include 3 sisters; Mary Geisler of Jerseyville, Dorothy Baker of Shipman, Frances Gabriel of Alton, 1 brother; William McCauley.
Preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters; Betty Lake, Edna Bounds, Ruth St. Peter's, 1 brother; James McCauley and 1 nephew; John St. Peters, whom was killed in Viet Nam.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton.
Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 11, 2016 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Brighton.
Father Bill Kessler will officiate
Burial will be at St. Denis Catholic Cemetery in Shipman.
Memorials may be made to the masses.
