Kenneth David Scoggins, III, 24, passed away 10:05 p.m. Monday at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born April 18, 1990 in Seoul, South Korea, he was the son of Kenneth David, II and Cheryl Scoggins of Alton and Mi Yang Chang Scoggins of St. Louis.
He had been a roofer in the construction field.
On March 7, 2014, he married the former Catelyn Blackwell. She survives.
In addition to his mother; father; step-mother and wife, surviving are two sons, Braeden and K.J. Scoggins; a daughter, Brooklynne Scoggins, all of Elsah; brother, Steven Turner of South Roxana; two sisters, Sheryl Scoggins of St. Louis and Chrissy Grace of Alton.
A Celebration of Life Memorial visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, March 20 followed by a service at 3:30 p.m. at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Rev. Michael Southcombe will officiate.
