Jeffrey Ray Downer, age 45, passed away suddenly at 10:28 am on Saturday, February 27, 2016.
He was born on June 1, 1970 in Alton, IL, the son of Larry E. & Linda (Hargrave) Downer of Shipman.
He was formerly married to Lynet (Heinrich) Downer of Brussels, IL. He is now with his loving companion, Tracy Driver of Bunker Hill.
Jeff enjoyed racing, working in the garage, camping and most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son Justin M. Downer of Bunker Hill, IL; maternal grandmother, Eileen Hargrave of Bunker Hill; his brother, Joe Downer of Shipman; three step children, Nicholas McMillian & Megan Partridge of S. Roxana, Kacey Myers & Thomas Hill of Roxana and Taylor Myers of Edwardsville; five step grandchildren, Taylor, Alexis, Race, Brooklynn and Oliviya and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be private at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Burial will be private at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
