Jeffery "Jeff" Allen Hibbs, of Cottage Hills, beloved brother, entered into the presence of God on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
He was born on August 16, 1962, in Alton, IL, the son of the late Earl C. and Dorothy E. (Wooten) Hibbs. He was one of eight children.
Jeff enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals play ball. He also loved to listen to music. Jeff loved his family very much, always giving hugs and kisses freely to everyone.
Survivors include his siblings, Dorothy (Greg Moore) Lamkin, Gary (Jane) Hibbs, William Hibbs, Earl Hibbs, Jr., and Pamela (Dennis) Tucker.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline Hibbs; a brother, Michael Hibbs; and a sister-in-law, Alice Hibbs.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 9:30 am until time of service at 11 am, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Pastor Terry McKinizie will officiate. Inurnment will be on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 1:30 pm, at Short Cemetery in Cottage Hills.
