Daniel L. Harrison, 67, went to his home in heaven at 4:50 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2015 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born on August 7, 1948 in East Alton, he was the son of Paul and Catherine (Martindale) Harrison.
A U.S. Army veteran, he had been a self-employed auto mechanic.
Surviving are two sisters, Charlene (Gerald) Walker of Alton, Shirley (Fred) Irvin of Godfrey; several nieces and nephews; four great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Jimmy Harrison; and two sisters, Dorothea Brookstein and Nancy Harrison.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Reverend David Prosser will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to Word and Spirit Family Church in Alton.
