Cynthia McLemore

Cynthia L. McLemore age 60 received eternal rest and peace  on Saturday August 22, 2015 at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born October 23, 1954 in Alton, the daughter of James and Clara (Holliday) Vaughn.  She graduated from Alton High School. Cindy  was a nursing assistant working for various hospitals including St. Claire's Hospital in Alton.  She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her grandkids.  In addition her husband of 12 years, Austin McLemore, she is survived by  her children Timeko (Patrick) Woodard, Courtney (Shana) Vaughn, Shataya Vaughn, Shayla Vaughn, Nigel (Tomisa) Walker, Ashley Walker and MaryAnn Perry, step children Kerby McLemore and Rosalinde (Ricco) Gipson and a special little son Boogie, 24 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and her siblings Paulette (Melvin) Douglas; Chauncey Vaughn; James (Eunice) Vaughn II,  Joyce (Ricky) Plunkett, Jeffrey (Linda) Vaughn, Chandler Vaughn, a host of nieces, nphews, cousins and friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Clara "Vaneeda" Clanton.Visitation Monday August 31, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Cathy M.
