Clarence Ballinger

Clarence D. Ballinger III age 49 departed this life on Tuesday March 10, 2015 at his residence at 5:52 p.m.  He was born July 4, 1965 in Alton, IL.  He was the son of late Clarence D. Ballinger Sr. and Maydale (Davis) Knight of Alton. Clarence was a 1984 graduate of Alton High School. Clarence was employed with Robert Sanders Waste Company for many years.  Clarence also enjoyed playing basketball.In addition to his mother Maydale, he is survived by his 2 children, Elizabeth (Craig) Minor and James (Sara) Mees both of Alton; 4 grandchildren, Tamadrey Ballinger, Rashode Ballinger, Allen Minor and Jamara Mees,  his sister Victoria Henderson of Alton; 6 brothers Tony Ballinger, Douglas (Brenda) Ballinger, Stanley (Belinda) Ballinger, John (Adele) Davenport all of Alton; Marcus  (Trina) Ballinger of Michigan City, IN; Darryle Ballinger of Louisiana, MO; special friends Chad Goree, Richard Steward, Mark Holloway, Tom Dickerson and Glenn Sanders. numerous aunts and uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his father he was preceded by his grandparents. Special Thanks to his caregivers Victoria, Liz, and OSF St. Anthony Hospice.Visitation: Friday March 20, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.at Cathy M.
