Carole Conner, 83, died at 10:41 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at her home.
She was born October 22, 1940 in Oskaloosa, Iowa the daughter of the late Alan Edward and Vera (Ash) Miller. She worked as a teacher’s aid in the Alton School District for many years. On February 5, 1965 in Alton she married Gerald Allen Conner and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2005.
Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Thomeczek (Michael) of Godfrey, Ellen Fairless (Karman) of Godfrey, four grandchildren, Adrianne and Kyle Frost, Andrea and Grant Harner, Audrey and Brian Campion, Megan Fairless and Zane Waldvogel, six great grandchildren, Grace and Amelia Harner, Mason and Davis Frost, Molly and Nora Campion, one nephew, Terry and Laurie Suhre and one great nephew, Jackson Suhre.
