Arnold G. House, 88, of Godfrey, IL, formerly of Normal, IL passed away Fri. Jan. 2, 2015 at Rosewood Care Center in Alton, IL.
He is survived by: wife Joanne, daughter, Cathy (Greg) Sheary and granddaughter, Lauren Sheary all of Alton, daughter, Sue (Doug) DeVries, grandson, Dan (Bobbi Jo) DeVries, John DeVries, Chris (Amanda) DeVries, great-granddaughters, Addison & Chloe DeVries all of Wisconisin, sister, Phyllis Bayer of Moline, IL and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Stuart DeVries and a brother, Quentin.
He served in WWII in the Seabee’s, graduated from Monmouth College and retired from IL Power Co. in 1988.
