Helen L. Tindall, 85, died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Rosewood Care Center in Alton. Born May 30, 1929 in East Prairie, MO, she was the daughter of Rube and Alice (Evans) Parker. She was a homemaker and a member of the Abundant Life Community Church. She married Tom Tindall. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2014. Surviving are six children, Sharon Watts (Roger) of Brighton, Sandra Hancock (Gary) of St. Charles, MO, Don Goodrich of Conway, MO, Dan Goodrich (Ruth) of Shipman, Patricia Goodrich Scates (Richard) of Hartford, and John C. Ide of Jerseyville, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one brother, Bill Parker and two sisters, Alma Southard and Brenda Davis. She was preceded in death by two sons, James K. Goodrich and Bobby N. Goodrich, in infancy, one grandson, James Danny Goodrich, a brother, Ruben Parker, and four sisters, Lavern Walker, Marie Knight, Mary Beaver and Dean Parker. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date at the Living Word Worship Center. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
