Barbara J. Dunn, 86, passed away at 8:04 pm Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Rosewood Care Center in Alton.
She was born on August 7, 1927 in Benld, IL, the daughter of the late Anton & Laura (Wolfe) Subick.
She married Paul Dunn on March 17, 1955 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Bethalto. He preceded her in death on June 23, 2012.
Barbara worked for Owens IL Glass, Olin and VIP Manor. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto where she was involved with the Lutheran Ladies Aid. She enjoyed traveling to Texas with her husband and working puzzle books up to the last few years.
Barbara is survived by two sons and their wives, Randy & Debbie Dunn of Alton and Gary & Traci Dunn of Godfrey and two grandchildren, Sam Dunn and Madison Dunn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and six brothers and sisters, Walter Subick, Margaret Stoye, Vivian Badornac, Helen Scott, Charles Subick and Bob Subick.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until funeral service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, IL with Pastor Willard Meyer officiating.
Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL.
Memorials can be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto.
