Terry “Ribby” Lynn Hornsey, age 64, of Alton, IL, passed away unexpectedly at his home Friday, July 19, 2013. He was born August 19, 1948, the son of Robert E. and Helen (Krug) Hornsey.
Terry “Ribby” was an avid fan of science fiction. His hobby was stop motion animation and he constructed his own models for the movies he made. He was proud to have once met Ray Harryhausen and Leonard Nimoy. He will be remembered for his many talents and love for his family.
He is survived by his mother, Helen Hornsey; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert W. Hornsey, and Tim and Bobbie Hornsey of Idyllwild, CA; a sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Marty Fancher of Lake Wappapello, MO; seven nieces and nephews, including Travis Clapsaddle, who was very close to Terry; and eleven great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E., in 1998.
A private family service and burial will take place at a later date.
