Stephen E. Sheafor, 57, passed away at 8:57 am Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at his home in Alton.
He was born on December 24, 1955, the son of Trad and Sophia “Lee” (Soto) Sheafor.
He married Toni Pulizos on February 14, 1981. She passed away on August 16, 1984.
He graduated from Alton High School and worked as a machine operator for Imperial Packing Company in Alton. He was a loving grandfather, avid animal lover and wonderful artist. He enjoyed watching Nascar races, collecting coins and old train memorabilia.
Stephen is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nikki & Tim O’Neill of Alton, IL and two grandchildren, Lauren & Johnny.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Theresa Lynn Lewis.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 pm Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Funeral services will be at 10 am on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Hofferber officiating.
Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Williamsville, IL.
