Lila Lee Zieger, age 78 of Athens, AL passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013.
She was born December 26, 1934 in Coulterville, IL, the daughter of the late Aaron and Mossaline Olive (Hanley) Ethington.
She is survived by her son, Roy Howard Zieger, nine daughters Katherine Zieger of Athens, Al, Vickie Cummings, Deborah Hayes, Linda Mulwee, Karen Brakeville, Roberta Rickerson, Stella Edan, Carlene King and Jane Gay.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Roy Howard Zieger.
Visitation will be from 9 am until the time of service at 11 am Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton with Pastor Jeff Heil officiating.
Chapel Committal will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
