Tildie Klein

Tildie Mae Klein, 90 passed away at 6:30 am on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Heritage Manor in Carlinville.   

 

She was born on March 9, 1922 in Floyd County, Kentucky, the daughter of Anthony and Laura (Hamilton) Hamilton. 

She married Allen Klein on June 6, 1942 in Akron, Ohio. He passed away on April 17, 1970.

Mae was a caregiver during her lifetime, employed at Beverly Farms.  She was a lifelong Methodist. 

She is survived by a daughter, June (Marvin) Fritzsche of Moro; two sons, Donald Klein (John Johnson) of Texas and Wayne Klein of Florida; grandchildren, Danette (Tim) Henson, Susan Cloninger, Christina Rossi, Molly and Laura Klein; great grandchildren, Gerald Clay Cloninger, Chris Henson, Danny Henson, Nathan Ferguson and Nicole Rossi; one great, great granddaughter, Kayla Klein; three sisters, Draxie Bledsoe and Mary Vance of Huntington, WV and Artie Butcher of Indianapolis, IN and many beloved nieces and nephews.   

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Eugene Klein, a grandson, Michael Wayne Klein, three sisters, Trevia Turner, Martha Armstrong and Goldie Hager and two brothers, Belva Hamilton and Ernest Hamilton. 

Visitation will be from 9 am until services at 10 am on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens Chapel in Bethalto with Pastor Willard Meyer officiating. 

Memorials may be made to Heritage Health Alzheimer’s Unit in Carlinville.
