Catherin "Miss Katy" Walter Primm

Catherin "Miss Katy" Walter Primm, 45, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the home of her parents in Murfreesboro, Tn. after a valiant fight with breast cancer. She was born in Jerseyville on June 14, 1966 and was one of three children born to Fred & Margie (Ritter) Walther. She graduated from Jersey Community High School with the Class of 1984, and later relocated to Tennessee with her family. She loved her family, friends and loved ones will always remember her for her bright smile, her spontaneous laugh, her love of horses and her courageous fight against breast cancer. Miss Katy is survived by her parents, Fred & Margie Walther of Murfreesboro, Tn.; her two children, Nicole and Luke Primm; her sister, Becky Soper; a brother & sister in law, Erich & Carrie Walther; nieces, Esther Soper and Abi Walther; a nephew, Jack Walther; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Feldhaus Memorial Funeral Chapel in Shelbyville, Tn., from 3 to 8 p.m. Additional services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 with a visitation at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville starting at 10 a.m., until time of funeral services at 12 noon at the funeral home. Father William Hembrow will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Jerseyville. Memorials may be given to her children in care of the funeral home.
