Mark A. Denning, 48, passed away at 6:35 pm on Friday, January 6, 2012 at Alton Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.

 

He was born on June 23, 1963 in Clinton, KY, the son of Hale and Judy (Payne) Denning. 

He married Kimberly D. Claytor on February 7, 2009 in Bethalto.  She survives.

Mark was a computer analyst for Well Point in St. Louis, MO.  He attended Holy Cross Lutheran Church in St. Louis and Living Word in Alton.  He coached baseball for Bluff City in Godfrey. and was a sports announcer for Lewis and Clark Basketball and the Gateway Grizzles. He enjoyed wrestling and most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife and his mother, Judy Dennng of Belleville, he is survived by his children and their spouses, Matt Wheeler of St. Louis, MO, Ryan and Danielle Denning of South County, MO, Tiffany Denning of South Roxana, Kaylee Steen Denning of Maryland Heights, Zackary Stawar of Bunker Hill and Christian Stawar of Cottage Hills; three grandchildren, Shane Wheeler, Dominic Denning and Harlee Denning; one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Pat Denning-Lucash of Freeburg, IL; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Chris Denning of Shiloh, IL and Timothy and Joyce Cantrell of Kansas City, MO; his nieces and nephews and his best friend and his wife, David and Becky Trent.

A memorial visitation will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in St. Louis, MO
