Irene B. Mondhink, 85, died at 3:47 a.m. Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Provision Living in Godfrey. Born July 24, 1926 in Westwood, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of John and Sigrid (Johansen) Berntsen. She worked for many years as a supervisor for the Alton Mental Health Center.
She married Judge Harry Mondhink. He preceded her in death. The family would like to thank the staff of Provision Living, Absolute Health Care, BJC Hospice and to all the people who have shared in Irene’s life.
Per her wishes, there will be no services.
