Jacqueline Rose Sidwell, 70, went to be with the Lord at 2:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2011 at Alton Memorial Hospital.She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on Feb. 11, 1941, and was the daughter of the late James & Margaret (Little) Large.She was a retired hairdresser and loved animals and loved to play poker with her friends. She also enjoyed a good book, and traveling to Hobe Sound, Florida.She is survived by her three children, Sam Nicola of Boca Raton, Fl., Robert Hellman of Grants NM., and Kellie Weissenfluh, and her husband, Ronald of Jerseyville; 10 Grandchildren; Eight Great Grandchildren; a brother and sister in law, James & Shirley Large of Sedgewickville, Mo; a sister, Sandra Hayes of East Alton; numerous nieces and nephews; and close friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, John Holik and Rex Sitzmore II.Cremation will take place prior to services.Memorial visitation will take place from 11 a.m., Friday until time of memorial services at 1 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Rev. John Gibson will officiate.Inurnment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.Memorials may be given to the Eastland Baptist Church in Jerseyville.
