Dallas W. Greeling, 89, died at 9:25 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born November 20, 1922 in Godfrey, IL the son of Charles and Anna (Selmier) Greeling. On February 14, 1945 in Bethalto, IL he married Rosella E. Bramlett and she preceded him in death on March 19, 2007. He was a self-employed farmer for many years in Godfrey.
Surviving are one daughter; Margaret Johnson and her husband Kenny of Bunker Hill, and one son; Billy C. Greeling of Godfrey, two grandchildren and their spouses ; Marci and Tom Goodwin of Peoria, and Matt and Christina Johnson of Bunker Hill, two great grandchildren; Dallas and Dane Goodwin, two brothers; Wilbur Greeling of Godfrey and Allen Greeling of Bunker Hill. He was preceded in death by one sister; Anna Vahle and one brother; Marion Greeling.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2011 at GENT Funeral Home where funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday with Reverend Bob Beloit to officiate. Memorials may be made to a Charity of choice.
