Helen Clark

Helen R. Clark, 83, died at 8:55 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2011 at Robings Manor in Brighton.  Born September 16, 1928 in Knoxville, TN, she was the daughter of Albert and Anna (Fagg) Clark.  She worked as a nurse’s aide for Beverly Farm in Godfrey for over 10 years.  Surviving is a daughter, Roseanna Lawson of Jerseyville, three sons, Bobby “BA” Allen of Alton, David J. Allen of Maryville, TN, and Maynard Clark of Texas, 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.  Also surviving are four brothers, Buddy Clark, A.B. Clark, Douglas Clark, and Herald Clark, and two sisters, Imogene Douglas, and Anna Ruth Clark.  Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.  Burial will be private.  Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
