Rita M. Dwiggins, 65, passed away at 5:45 am Sunday August 14, 2011 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton.
She was born on January 14, 1946 in St. Charles, Missouri the daughter of Omar & Clementine (Boerding) Boschert.
She married Clarence Dwiggins, in West Alton, MO he preceded her in death.
Rita enjoyed playing bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren, and family.
She is survived by two sons Bryan Boschert and companion Penny Karrick and son Chase of Cottage Hills, Scott Dwiggins of Yazoo, MS, two grandchildren; Miles Porter and Morgan Porter, three sisters; Carol Nichols of O’Fallon, MO, Toni and her spouse Ron Pohlman of Brussels, IL, Betty and her spouse Ralph Nickell of Dexter, MO, and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband; she was also preceded in death by two sisters; Judy Lewis and Ida Youngblood, and one brother Charles Boschert.
Memorial visitation will be from 11 am till time of service at 1 pm, Monday August 22, 2011 at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton with Fr. Steve Pohlman as celebrant.
Inurnment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in West Alton, MO.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or a Charity of one’s Choice.
