Gary Williamson, 55, died at 1:15 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2011 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton. He was born June 23, 1955 in Kingsville, TX the son of the late Roscoe and Mary (Richards) Williamson. He was a former motorcycle racer, member of the American Motorcycle Association, H.O.G.-Harley Owners Group and an avid golfer. Surviving is his devoted companion for years; Terri Thomas of Alton, one sister; Janet and her husband James Bunch of Godfrey, one niece; Mary Jo Zykan of Godfrey and a nephew; Carl Nevins of Godfrey, two great nieces; Becka and Nora Zykan, one great nephew; Colton Nevins. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one sister; Karen “Tiny” Williamson. Gary will be missed by many friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Per his wishes he will be cremated.
