Jennifer A. Edwards, age 62, passed away at 1:46 pm Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Alton Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born in Alton, IL on April 30, 1948 the daughter of the late Lural Stevens and June (Waggoner) Stevens. She survives.
She was employed at Olin as a factory worker for over twenty years. She enjoyed reading, attending to her iris’, cross stitching, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother she is survived by a daughter, June Eschbach and her boyfriend Craig Reedy of Alton; a son and his wife, Len and Elizabeth Edwards of South Carolina; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Carolyn Watson of Brighton, and Lisa Fowler of Alton; many nieces and nephews, and her long time companion Ron Strowmatt.
She was preceded in death by her father, a son Brian Eschbach; and a brother Lural “Butch” Stevens Jr.
Memorial visitation will be from 1 until service time at 3 pm April 30, 2011 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, IL with Rev. Charles West officiating.
Per her wishes cremation rites where accorded.
