Janice Rea Hill, age 72, passed away at 8:35 am on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton.
She was born on May 22, 1938 in Edwardsville, IL the daughter of the late Roy and Virginia (Kennedy) Heck.
She married Harold “Mark” Hill on January 4, 1989. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2005.
Janice was a homemaker, participated in fundraising for the M.S. Society, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter; Cindy Kincade and her spouse Stan of Godfrey, four grandchildren; Vicki and her husband Robert Heden, Brandy and her husband Matt Kotzamanis, Rob and his wife Lori Kincade, and Nathan and his wife Liz Kincade, nine great grandchildren; Lacy and John Kotzamanis, Zach and Alexa Kincade, Jonathon and Justin Kincade, Jenna and Gerry Barrett; a brother; Robert Heck and his spouse Helen of Naperville, IL, three sisters; Delores Wiseman of W. Memphis, AR, Rita Fairless and her spouse Gary of Wood River, and Bonnie Branz of Houston, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.
Visitation will be from 10am until 1pm Friday, April 22, 2011 at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, IL. Service will follow at the Funeral Home at 1pm with Brother Richard Newcom officiating.
Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to Whitelaw Avenue Baptist Church Youth Group in Wood River.
