Roberta Lutton passed away Friday, March 25, 2011 at the Champaign County Nursing Home in Urbana, Illinois. Roberta was born November 8, 1921 in Shipman Illinois, the daughter of Ernest and Mary Schwenke.
Her parents, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Lina Rosholt of Sherman Oaks, California, and a son, Al (Judy) Lutton of Champaign, Illinois. She had three grandchildren, Tom (Kathy) Rosholt of Valley Village, California, Christine (Robert) Mechtly of St. Charles, Missouri, and Brian (Stephanie) Lutton of St. Joseph, Illinois and four great grandchildren.
Roberta retired in 1983 from the Base Exchange accounting department at Chanute Air Force Base. In her retirement she did volunteer work for her church and the Salvation Army. A family service will be held in Shipman, Illinois. Donations can be made to the Grace United Methodist Church of Urbana or to the Salvation Army.
Graveside services will be held Tues., March 29, 2011 at Shipman Cemetery in Shipman. Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home is in charge.
