Clark Richard “Rich” Pruitt, 86, died at 5:15 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at his residence. He was born December 26, 1924 in Mason City, Illinois the son of the late William and Mary (Denny) Pruitt. On February 17, 1967 in St. Louis, MO he married Frieda Mae White and she preceded him in death on February 17, 1987. He retired from Kienstra Ready Mix as a driver in January of 1987. He served in the US Army during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of the VFW Post 1308.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews and long time friends and caregivers: Barbara Bollinger and family and Jeffrey Senger and family. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by 7 Brothers and 4 Sisters.
Per his request his remains were cremated. Their will be no services.
