Margaret Morrissey passed away January 26, 2011, in Edwardsville with her family at her side.
She was the wife of the late Paul Morrissey and they are survived by Paula Damore (Stuart), Dan Morrissey, Marilyn Morrissey (Carolyn), Ann Davidson (Harry), Matt Morrissey (Eileen) and Elizabeth Stringfellow (Ron); grandchildren Christina and Peter Damore, Maddie and John Morrissey, and Natasha and Nate Stringfellow; and great-grandchildren Kate and Brynn McGrath. She is also survived by her sister, Charlene Conley, and predeceased by her grandson, Matthew Paul Morrissey.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Alton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2011.
Memorials may be made to the Matthew Paul Morrissey Cancer Research Fund at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis, the Jacoby Arts Center in Alton, or Relais Bonne Eau Hospice of Edwardsville.
