Wilma L. Richardson, 80, passed away at 7:33 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Hospital. Born Nov. 20, 1930 in Smithboro, Ill., she was a daughter of Muril and Dorathy (Green) Bone. She married Fred Richardson Dec. 7, 1947. He passed away Jan. 2, 2010.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Fred and Jackie Richardson of Cottage Hills and Marion and Brenda Richardson of East Alton; 5 grandchildren, Greg Richardson and his fiancée Stacy Deckard, Tom Richardson and his fiancée Pamela Kelly, Scott Richardson and his wife Melanie, Carrie Richardson, and Lindsay Curtis; 3 great grandchildren, Alisdair, Mackenzie, and Peyton; and two sisters, Ada Ulrich of Havana, Ill. and Shirley Timmons of Vandalia, Ill.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12.
Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be given to the VFW, Cottage Hills Post 7678.
