Dorothy (Willis) Roady, 91, died at 3:44 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Jerseyville Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in English Township, Jersey County on June 24, 1919, the last surviving child born to the late Algie & Dollie (Turner) Willis.
She married Raymond Roady on Feb. 22, 1945 in Granite City and he died March 28, 1980.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, including Ruth Ann Dunham and her husband, Richard of Kane; and several great neices and nephews, including Evan Jones and his wife Kina of Jerseyville and Andrea Craigmiles, and her husband, Darin of Kane.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph Willis, Rayburn Willis, and Wayne Willis; and five sisters, Eva Fink, Allie Krueger, Irma Croxford, Amy Willis, and Hazel Shanks.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m.. until time of funeral services at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.
Burial will be in the Kane Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the activity department at Jerseyville Manor Nursing Home.
