Ferry Mae Hopkins, 75, born January 31 in Elco, IL, died on December 3, 2010 at Bethalto Care Center.
Ferry was married to Gerald “Hoppy” Hopkins on December 20, 1952, and he preceded her in death.
Surviving loved ones include five sons: Larry Calvin and Dianna, Terry Hopkins and Becky, Scott Hopkins and Lori, Chick Hopkins and Ashley, and Vance Pena and Sonya; sisters, Anita and Ben Cobble, Marci and Billy Copeland; Colleen and Roger Langendoefer; Becky and Bob Williams; and a brother, Larry Dillman and Linda. Grandchildren near and dear to her heart are Theresa, Michelle and Josh Hopkins; Shayelle Dominguez; Randi, Madison, Delani, Claire, Korrie and Emily Hopkins; and Taryn and Chelsy Pena.
Preceding her in death are her father, Loren Dillman; mother, Emma Dillman; sister, Katie Haney; and son, Michael Hopkins.
A memorial service will be conducted at Emmanuel Free Methodist Church, 3993 Fosterburg Road, Alton on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Southwestern Middle/High School Booster Club.
