Rosemary Jane Gaston, 57, died at 5:55 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2010 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born August 10, 1953 in Alton, she was the daughter of Robert and Martha (Schermerhorn) Adams. She was an assistant health services coordinator for Take Care Health Systems Olin/Global Brass and was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Alton.
She married Larry Peipert. He preceded her in death. She then married William Gaston. He survives. Also surviving are a daughter and two sons, Monica Peipert (Eric Emde), Adam Peipert (Kate Peipert) and Scott Peipert (Leslie Frey), one grandson, Tucker Emde, five brothers; Dan Adams (Helen Adams), George Adams, Carl Adams, Joe Adams (Margaret Adams) and Roger Adams, and four sisters; Jeanne Gill (Tom Gill), Jan Adams, Eleanor Harris (Steve Harris) and Alice Boulds. She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Alton.
Father Delix Michel will officiate. Burial will be private.
