William L. Matthews, 80, passed away at 10:14 a.m. Monday, October 25, 2010 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 8, 1930 in Marble Hill, Mo. to Chester and Ethel Matthews. A carpenter, he worked for Christian Northeast Hospital for 12 years before his retirement in 1995.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
