Diana Copley

DIANA LYNN COPLEY, 59, of Lynville, Illinois, died at 10:00 p.m., Sunday, September 5, 2010 at her residence.She was born in Chicago on April 29, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Roger Lee & Dorothy Ann Beebe.Diana was a U.S. Navy veteran, and met her husband, Kimel Thompson Copley, while he was serving with the Navy as well.  The two married on April 3, 1971 in Waukegan, Il on he died Dec. 3, 1993. She had previously worked at Mobil Chemical for 13 years, as well as Eisenhower Terrace for a short period of time, both in Jacksonville.  She currently was serving as a Residential Care Worker for the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired in Jacksonville.Surviving her are some very dear friends, William & Cheryl White of Hillview.According to her wishes, her body has been cremated, and inurnment will take place at the White Hall Cemetery at a later date.Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville is in charge of the arrangements.
