Roberta Reed

Roberta Kay Reed, 51, died at 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 5, 2010 at her residence.

She was born in St. Louis, Mo. on May 6, 1959, the daughter of the late Charles & Jo Katherine (Stuart) Winsell.Roberta was raised and attended schools in Gillespie, and enjoyed crafts and watching cooking shows on television.She is survived by her former husband, Robert Reed of Jerseyville; three sons, Charles Winsell of Branson, Mo., John Reed of Troy, IL., and George Reed of Jerseyville; two grandchildren; and a brother, Steve Winsell of Hillsboro.She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Winsell.Per her request, her body has been cremated and no services are scheduled.Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville is in charge of the arrangements.
