Jason J. Gibbons, 28, passed away at 10:44 pm on Sunday, May 23, 2010 in Godfrey.
He was born on August 20, 1981 in Alton, IL, the son of Preston J. & Kimberly (Hamilton) Gibbons.
Jason was employed as a self employed sub contractor for Carpet Specialists. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and most of all he loved spending time with his children, family and friends.
He is survived by his parents Preston and Kimberly of Cottage Hills; his wife, Misty of Godfrey; two children, Emily Ann Gibbons and Jared Jay Gibbons; paternal grandmother, Mary Gibbons of Bethalto; maternal grandmother, Patsey Hamilton of Cottage Hills; two brothers, Brandon J. Gibbons and Derek P. Gibbons both of Bethalto; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Mary Sauls of Brighton; several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, J.B. Gibbons and maternal grandfather, Harold Dean Hamilton.
